Muhammad Yunus, interim leader of Bangladesh, spoke to the BBC’s Samira Hussain about law and order in the country, possible elections in December and his country’s relationship with India.

The 84-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate was chosen to lead Bangladesh’s interim government after former prime minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country following weeks of violent unrest in August 2024. Hasina is currently in India.
