Freestyle Love Supreme created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thomas Kail and Anthony Veneziale runs in Charlotte, NC from May 24 to May 29, 2022 at Knight Theater in the Levine Center for the Arts.
The idea for FSL was conceived 15 years ago by Miranda and Kail (the masterminds behind Hamilton). If you like Broadway, improv and hip-hop, this is a show not to be missed. See it even if you are not a fan of hip-hop. The performers took suggestions from the audience and turned them into musical rap numbers full of comedy! Genius! I saw the show on May 24th but you can attend multiple nights and experience a “different” show each time. Four performers (rappers/comedians), a beatboxer and two musicians made the night memorable.
