AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) hosted the North Carolina Region Charity Golf Tournament on August 26-27, 2023 at the Rocky River Golf Club in Concord, NC. The event marked the third charity golf tournament of the summer and saw a notable turnout of 125 players, many of whom are active AAHOA Members and industry leaders.
Against the backdrop of a challenging course, participants enjoyed a full day of golf and raised nearly $100,000 for the following charities: Hindu Center, Jamie Kimble Foundation, USO of North Carolina, The Sandbox, Isabell Santos Foundation, India Association, Samaritans Feet, Second Harvest Food Bank, Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking, Foundation for Girls, BAPS Charities, Ella Ford Foundation, Autism Strong, No One Left Alone, and It’s 4 The Kids.
This event was made all the more special by the notable presence of elected officials from North Carolina. These elected officials took time out of their busy schedules to engage with attendees, take photos, and enjoy some delicious traditional Indian cuisine:
