The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will be hosted by India from October 5 – November 19, 2023. Ten teams will participate in the 13th edition of the World Cup, which takes place every four years and is a One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament contested by men’s national teams and organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). England is the 2019 defending champions. It will be the first men’s Cricket World Cup to be hosted solely by India, who with other countries on the Indian subcontinent had co-hosted the event in 1987, 1996, and 2011.

The participating teams are from India, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and The Netherlands.

The final is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Amdavad on November 19, 2023. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and Eden Gardens, Kolkata will host the two semifinals.
