Maya Neelakantan, a Tamil guitar prodigy from Chennai, became interested in learning heavy metal music at 6 years-old. She appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2024 and blew everyone away with her performance of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” (with special permission from the band) in the quarterfinals.
