Welcome, Saathee family!
I’m so excited to share one of my all-time favorite weeknight wonders with you – Miso Pasta that had my whole family drooling (yes, even the picky ones!). This vegetarian-friendly dish is rich, umami-packed, and comes together in minutes. It’s the perfect way to elevate pasta night without reaching for the usual jar of marinara. Think: restaurant-quality flavor, right from your own kitchen. Trust me, your tastebuds are in for a treat!
Servings: 2 – 3
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
8 ounces spaghetti
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp white miso
1 cup pasta water
1 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
Black sesame seeds
8 cloves garlic minced
Directions
Step 1: Boil pasta al dente, according to package and set aside after rinsing it with cool water. Make sure to reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
Step 2: Add butter, garlic, and mushroom in the saucepan, and sauté until garlic begins to brown.
Step 3: Mix pasta water and miso paste and add it to the saucepan.
Step 4: Add shredded cheese and toss in the noodles.
Serve once mixed well and top with black sesame seeds (toasted is best!)
