Best of all, making your own mango chutney is a breeze, requiring just a handful of readily available ingredients and minimal effort. So, let’s dive into this simple recipe that will elevate your meals to new heights of deliciousness!

Servings: About 2 cups
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

4 large mangos chopped or 4 cups of
frozen chopped mangos
1 tbsp. oil
4 garlic cloves minced
1/2 red onion finely chopped
2 tbsp. chopped ginger chopped finely
1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
1.5 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 cups sugar
1 cup white vinegar

Directions

1. Add oil, onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté until it starts to turn brown.

2. Add mango, crushed red pepper, curry powder, and salt and continue cooking until the mango softens with the rest of the spices.

3. Let the mixture cool and blend.

4. Add the mixture back into the pan with vinegar and sugar and set on low heat. Let the mixture simmer until the sugar dissolves and the consistency thickens.

5. After the mixture cools store it in an airtight jar and enjoy!
