These protein packed dhokla biscuits are where comfort meets convenience. Inspired by the classic flavors of dhokla, these savory breakfast biscuits are fluffy, flavorful, and perfect for busy mornings, snack breaks, or toddler-friendly bites throughout the week. Pair them with a refreshing mint cilantro chutney for a traditional twist or go bold with blueberry jam for the ultimate sweet-and-savory combination. Want a little extra kick? Add chopped jalapeños or green chilies to bring the heat. Delicious, versatile, and packed with protein these biscuits prove that fusion flavors can be both nourishing and fun.

Ingredients

6 large eggs
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 cups baby spinach
1/2 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp curry powder

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Whisk eggs with salt and curry powder. Then mix all ingredients in a bowl except for the sliced jalapeno and shredded cheese.

Step 3: Let the batter sit for about 5 minutes.

Step 4: Scoop batter onto the baking sheet (about 1/4 cup per biscuit). Top with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and jalapenos.

Bake for 18 minutes, until golden and firm to the touch.
