The third edition of JLF North Carolina, an international edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, will take place in Raleigh, NC from September 11 to 13, 2026. This year, the festival celebrates the many arts and histories of the ‘City of Oaks’, across sessions taking place at Meredith College and NC State Centennial Campus. The city’s boulevards will serve as the perfect backdrop for this celebration of books and stories.

JLF North Carolina 2026 will feature two days of thought-provoking conversations, compelling performances, and cultural experiences, making it an essential chapter of the JLF USA series.

The Jaipur Literature Festival, held annually in the historic Pink City of Jaipur in India’s vibrant state of Rajasthan, is hailed worldwide as the ‘greatest literary show on Earth’. In January 2026, the 19th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival reaffirmed the power of books and ideas through a remarkable line-up of speakers and sessions.

The festival’s energy and spirit travel across the world, in its international JLF edition. JLF International is a series of global festivals, travelling across continents, carrying with it the spirit of the Jaipur Literature Festival. Its editions span several countries including Australia, Europe, Middle East, Ireland, UK and US, seamlessly merging the rich multilingual literary traditions of South Asia with the unique essence of the host regions.
