The Vedic Mandir at Hindu Center was inaugurated with a grand opening celebration on July 25, 2026. This historic milestone was made memorable by the divine presence and blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, along with the attendance of U.S. Senator Thom Tillis, the heartfelt blessings and kind words of Shri Bhaishri, and the warm congratulations from North Carolina Governor Josh Stein.
The inauguration of the new Vedic Mandir also marked a significant milestone in the journey as it coincided with the 44th Anniversary of the Hindu Center, whose original Vedant Mandir was established in 1982. This achievement reflects decades of faith, devotion, and unwavering support from the community.
The mandir extends gratitude to all our dignitaries, sponsors, donors, volunteers, priests, staff, and devotees whose dedication and generosity made this dream a reality.
The Mandir is now open for darshan while the sacred journey of Prana Pratishtha ceremonies for the remaining deities continues. The Hindu Center Vedic Mandir is a place of faith, devotion, learning, and community for generations to come.
