Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead; her unintentional digs belittle the male lead, whose assistants are unflattering. VK Naresh plays that unfortunate producer who has just been duped into parting with ten times the initial budget. At this rate, Funky is poised to offer numerous in-jokes. And if the buzz in the media is anything to go by, writers Anudeep KV and Mohan Sato have indeed packed a satirical punch. The film is set to release in theatres on Friday, February 13.
