Learn about Davie County’s most famous former resident. The festival will feature local artisans, historical tours, food, contests, live music, and programming for children. Tours include a visit to Joppa Cemetery where Boone’s parents and brother are buried, the Boone Tract at Bear Creek, and the Daniel Boone Marker in Farmington. Although the festival is between 10am – 5pm, live entertainment will continue in the area until 7:30pm.
