Changing Farming Lives: “Our Grandmother Used to Sing Whilst Weeding”

Shivamma is a farmer from Allanata village in rural Bangalore, India. She talks about the environmental changes that have affected her life.

This is part of an Open University research project called 'Changing Farming Lives in South India, Past and Present'. This collaborative and international project works with the oral histories of women farmers, to understand their lives and challenges.
